This free Procreate color palette featuring black cat colors can be downloaded to your iPad and used for your digital art projects. Use them to create Procreate illustrations and drawings, and to help bring your ideas to life in the app. These color combos are all created by me personally using colors that I chose from reference photos that I took myself.

What is Procreate?
Procreate is a digital art program for the iPad, and you can use the color palettes they give you, create your own, or use some that you find in different places online. You can also buy color palettes for Procreate on sites like Etsy if you want to get some that are specific to certain types of artwork.
I like making color palettes because I know that the colors are going to work together, and it can keep you on track to limit yourself to a set range of colors when you’re working on a project.
It’s also helpful if you lose track of the “recently used” colors when you’re working, because Procreate will add everything you test out to that section. Having a palette lets you go back to a color that you were using before without having to hunt for it.

How to import color palettes in Procreate.
Procreate color palettes are saved in a .swatches file format, which opens up automatically in Procreate when you’re on your iPad.
Please note that this works for Procreate only, it’s not an Adobe file so you can’t open it with Photoshop or other Adobe products.
To use it with Procreate, download the file onto your iPad using the Safari browser and tap it in the downloads file. It will install on Procreate automatically for you and show up in your templates in the color section. Find your palettes by tapping the color dot at the top right on the Procreate screen, then choosing “palettes” at the bottom of that section.
How you can use this palette.
You can use my palettes without attribution for personal or commercial products that you make with it, including designs for POD products, but you can’t sell the file itself or alter it and sell it.
