When I make a gingerbread house or other item for the first time, I’ll make a mockup of it in cardboard first to make sure that the pieces all fit together.

This gingerbread sleigh is a pattern that I got from my mother years ago, and it makes an easy-to-assemble and sturdy gingerbread sleigh that you can use as a centerpiece to put mini packages in, or to load up with candy.

The pattern makes a gingerbread sleigh that’s about 9″ long, 6″ tall, and 4″ wide at the back. It’s a little narrower at the front.

Because it has a bottom in it, you can move it around without having to worry about rearranging the things that you’ve put inside of it later.

There are only 5 pieces for this design, and you can decorate it any way that you want to make it traditional or more modern as far as colors go.

You can also do piping on it using royal icing instead of adding candy, or you could add some gingerbread reindeer or a Santa sitting inside of it.
